the perfect perception

Brian was so excited he hadn’t realised he’d been sitting in the architects office for 3 hours. But what a great 3 hours it was. She came up with some perfect skeletons that really connected with what was going through his head. He felt like she really gathered a good sense of who he was, and used that to come up with the drafts. There was one that she took a view of his deck and turned it into a building. He was really blown away. But his favourite was the one that looked like his records on shelves. It was set out with all the things he said he needed and all the ideas were just perfect. He was really excited about it. Although the one with the stair case of shelves was amazing to. To have his whole collection on show and to be able to touch it every day by just going up the stairs, he would be able to smell them all over the house and really have them on show. So a mix of the two of them would be just ideal. It looked like he had really found someone who understood him and his ideas, and to see them on paper after so long of them just being in his head. He was totally pumped and so glad that he had his gig tonite. He felt like he was going to give his beat performance yet.

Brian the Musician

As Brian woke up he knew today would be the same as any other, a great day. He got out of bed and showered leaving just enough time to fill up his flask with coffee and jet out the door to the job he loved, the music shop. Ever since Brian was a little boy he wanted his very own music shop and when he finally opened one last year it was a dream come true. He can remember when he used to sit at gigs and dream about owning his own business. Most days he has to pinch himself to make sure he is awake and this is not just a great dream. But when the pinch hurts, he realises that he is living his dream. He seemed to be making good on a lot of dreams as of late. With the music shop opening and business booming, almost to the point that he can’t keep the shelves stocked to meet demand, meeting his dream girl who shares his passion for music. He is actually thinking about settling down; maybe even the big M word coming up in the near future, who would have thought. And then finally to have the ability of getting his dream home out of his head, planned on paper and built. What was going on? He was excited and really looking forward to watching the progress. What was the next year going to bring? Finally he would be able to get his collection out of storage, all dusted off and be able to listen to whatever he wanted without taking a trip to the shipping district. Brian was a music enthusiast no that does not describe it right he was a music fanatic. He collected everything and anything to do with music, including Beatles thumbtacks, Frank Sanatra shoe polish and Ozzy Osbourne bat repellent. He could not wait to see his amazing collection all in one place…

Now to get my head out of the clouds and back to work, these shipping orders are late, I need to order 12 more Brittany CD’s and I saw those great T-shirts in the catalog. Where the hell did I put that? Oh here is it and look the furniture place has a catalog out…. what can I put in the amazing tower I am going to build? Maybe I can get that red round couch made to order? I wonder if I should get a matching rug or…wow that lamp is nice, look at that picture where could that hang? Maybe in the dining room with those amazing Italian tiles I saw the other day. Hmm wonder if I can get the dining chairs in green instead of blue to match that picture. Oh yeh that would look fantastic. Oh yeah the order.
